Beschreibung

In City Council übernimmt jeder Spieler die Rolle eines Ratsmitglieds einer neu gegründeten Stadt. Die Regierung wird die Mitglieder des Stadtrats in den ersten Jahren auswählen, bis die Stadt aufsteigt und gedeiht, zu diesem Zeitpunkt wird das beliebteste Mitglied die Position des Bürgermeisters erhalten.

Um die Stadt zu bauen, müssen Sie und die anderen Ratsmitglieder ein niedriges Maß an Umweltverschmutzung aufrechterhalten, Verbrechen bekämpfen, Arbeitsplätze schaffen und ein angemessenes Stadtbudget aufrechterhalten. Wenn Sie und die anderen nicht die gute Arbeit leisten, könnte das Stadtprojekt scheitern, die Regierung wird übernehmen und alle Spieler verlieren.

Als Mitglied des Rates müssen Sie auch versuchen, die Gunst der verschiedenen politischen Gruppen zu gewinnen, die die Straßen Ihrer Stadt beherrschen. Während das Spiel fortschreitet und die Stadt größer wird, werden immer mehr politische Interessengruppen versuchen, ihren Willen in der Stadt durch Klopfen an Ihrer Bürotür und das Bitten um kleine "Gefallen" durchzusetzen, bei denen Sie in ihrem Namen handeln müssen. Im Gegenzug bieten sie Ihnen ihre Unterstützung an und Sie erhalten Siegpunkte für Ihre persönliche Sache, was Ihnen möglicherweise ermöglicht, der erste Bürgermeister der Stadt zu werden.
