Beschreibung

Commands & Colors: Medieval basiert auf dem äußerst erfolgreichen Commands & Colors-Spielsystem und ist von Natur aus nicht allzu komplex. Das mittelalterliche Spiel führt viele neue Spielkonzepte in das Commands & Colors-System ein, die historische Tiefe und Flair hinzufügen. Einige der neuen Konzepte sind: Überlegene Rüstung und Status im Kampf, Kavallerieeinheiten erhöhen sich auf 4 Blöcke, die Kampfwürfel der schweren Infanterie werden von 5 Würfeln auf 4 reduziert, leichte Bogenkavallerieeinheiten können den Parthischen Schuss einsetzen, wenn sie ausweichen. Dennoch bleiben einige Mechaniken des Commands & Colors-Spiels für Spieler anderer Spiele im System vertraut, wie das Deck der mittelalterlichen Befehlskarten, das die Bewegung steuert und gleichzeitig einen „Nebel des Krieges“ erzeugt, und die Kampfwürfel, die den Kampf schnell und effizient lösen. Die stilisierten Schlachtfeld-Szenariokarten betonen die wichtigen Gelände-Features und heben den historischen Einsatz von Kräften im Maßstab des Spielsystems hervor. Der Maßstab des Spiels ist flexibel und variiert von Schlacht zu Schlacht. In einigen Szenarien kann eine Einheit eine Chiliarchie von Soldaten darstellen, während in anderen Szenarien eine Einheit nur einige tapfere Krieger darstellen kann. Die Taktiken auf dem Schlachtfeld, die Sie jedoch ausführen müssen, um den Sieg zu erringen, passen bemerkenswert gut zu den Stärken und Einschränkungen der verschiedenen mittelalterlichen Einheitstypen, ihrer Waffen, des Geländes und der Geschichte. Obwohl die byzantinische Armee an anderen Fronten gegen eine Vielzahl von Gegnern kämpfte, sind die Westgoten, Vandalen, Ostgoten, Franken, Alemannen, diese Konflikte über den Rahmen und den Raum dieses Pakets hinaus. Zusätzliche Erweiterungsmodule, die sich mit diesen Kämpfen befassen, werden in Kürze verfügbar sein. Ich glaube wirklich, dass das Spiel Commands & Colors: Medieval selbst den erfahrensten Commands & Colors-Spielern viele neue Herausforderungen und Erfahrungen bieten wird.
