Beschreibung

Nach einem tragischen Superhelden-Einsatz, der viele Opfer forderte, wurde das Gesetz über die Registrierung von Übermenschen ratifiziert, das die Helden zwingt, ihre geheimen Identitäten preiszugeben und sich der Aufsicht der Regierung zu unterwerfen. Iron Man stimmte dieser Politik zu und versammelte ein Team von Pro-Registrierungshelden um sich, um sie durchzusetzen. Captain America hingegen war der Meinung, dass Helden über der direkten Kontrolle der Regierung stehen sollten. Andere Anti-Registrierungshelden schlossen sich ihm an, wurden zu Gesetzlosen und gründeten die Secret Avengers. Unvermeidlich brach ein gewalttätiger Konflikt zwischen den beiden Seiten aus, und jetzt sitzen die Bösewichte am Rande, während einst verbündete Helden gegeneinander in einem echten Bürgerkrieg kämpfen! Die Spielmodi Civil War machen es zu einem echten Spieler-gegen-Spieler-Spiel, in dem zwei Teams von Helden gegeneinander antreten, ohne dass ein Bösewicht in Sicht ist. Mit einem Roster von Helden aus beiden Seiten des Registrierungs-Konflikts bietet diese Erweiterung den Spielern zwei Möglichkeiten, gegeneinander zu kämpfen: entweder das informellere Helden-Duell oder das wettbewerbsfähigere, asymmetrische und thematische Registrierungs-Duell! Welches Team werdet ihr wählen?
