Beschreibung

Quartermaster General: Prelude fügt ein kurzes Vorspiel mit neuen „Prelude“-Karten hinzu, das die Bühne für den Zweiten Weltkrieg bereitet.

Das Vorspiel hat eine verkürzte Spielsequenz, die dazu dient, unterschiedliche Eröffnungssituationen zu schaffen, von denen aus das reguläre Spiel beginnen kann. Es gibt zwei Arten von Vorspielkarten: Geschichte und Rüstung. Geschichtskarten werden (im Allgemeinen) sofort aufgelöst und haben einen Spannungsmodifikator. Rüstungskarten werden verdeckt gespielt, wie Antwortkarten, kosten aber eine reguläre Karte zur Verwendung (nicht zum Spielen). Wenn die gesamte Spannung der Geschichtskarten 10 erreicht, beginnt das reguläre Spiel.
