Beschreibung

Die größten Zauberer des Königreichs haben sich im Herzen des Argos-Waldes versammelt, wo das legendäre Turnier der 12 Jahreszeiten stattfindet. Am Ende des dreijährigen Wettbewerbs wird der neue Erzmagier des Königreichs Xidit aus den Teilnehmern gewählt. Nehmen Sie Platz, Zauberer! Rüsten Sie Ihre uralten magischen Gegenstände aus, beschwören Sie Ihre treuesten Vertrauten an Ihre Seite und seien Sie bereit, die Herausforderung anzunehmen! Seasons ist ein taktisches Spiel mit Karten und Würfeln, das in zwei Phasen stattfindet: Die erste Phase "Präludium" besteht aus einem Kartendraft: Ziel dieser Phase ist es, ein eigenes 9-Karten-Deck für den Hauptteil des Spiels und damit die Strategie zu erstellen. Sobald das Präludium abgeschlossen ist, muss jeder Spieler seine 9 Karten in 3 Pakete mit je 3 Karten aufteilen. Er beginnt die zweite Phase des Spiels mit seinem ersten Paket von drei Karten und erhält im Laufe des Spiels nach und nach die anderen beiden Pakete mit drei Karten. Dann kommt das Turnier: Zu Beginn jeder Runde würfelt ein Spieler die Jahreszeitenwürfel (Würfel = Anzahl der Spieler +1). Diese Würfel bieten den Spielern eine Vielzahl von Aktionen: - Erhöhen Sie Ihre Anzeige (maximale Anzahl von Karten, die Sie auf dem Tisch und im Spiel haben dürfen) - Ernten von Energie (Wasser, Erde, Feuer, Luft), um die Kosten der Machtkarten zu bezahlen - Kristallisieren der Energie (während der aktuellen Saison), um Kristalle zu sammeln. Kristalle dienen sowohl als Ressource zum Bezahlen einiger Karten als auch als Siegpunkte am Ende. - Ziehen neuer Karten Jeder Spieler kann pro Zug nur einen Würfel wählen. Der Würfel, den niemand gewählt hat, bestimmt, wie viele Felder die "Zeitachse" voranschreitet. Darüber hinaus sind alle Würfel je nach Saison unterschiedlich. Zum Beispiel gibt es nicht die gleichen Energien für eine bestimmte Saison. Im Laufe des Spiels müssen sich die Spieler daher an diese Veränderungen anpassen - auch die "Wechselkurse" von Energie zu Kristallen variieren je nach Saison - die Energie, die in einer bestimmten Saison nicht auf den Würfeln vorhanden ist, wird ebenfalls am besten während der Saison bezahlt. Am Ende des Spiels werden die Kristalle mit den von den Karten vergebenen Siegpunkten (abzüglich einiger Strafen, falls zutreffend) summiert. Die höchste Punktzahl gewinnt.
