Das kooperative Kartenspiel The Dresden Files (oder DFCO) ist ein Spiel, in dem die Spieler zusammenarbeiten, um Fälle aus den Bestseller-Romanen der Dresden Files zu lösen, im ultimativen 'Was wäre wenn'-Szenario! Spielen Sie Harry, Murphy, Susan, Michael und die Alphas in den ersten fünf Romanen oder übernehmen Sie Side Jobs in einem zufälligen Szenarien-Generator, der auf der gleichnamigen Kurzgeschichtensammlung basiert. Spielen Sie Ihre Karten, räumen Sie das Brett auf und schlagen Sie die Quoten im finalen Showdown am Ende des Buches. Nutzen Sie Teamarbeit, Strategie und ein wenig Glück, um den Tag zu gewinnen. Das Spiel enthält viele Insider-Witze und Anspielungen für Dresden-Fans (wie die unzuverlässige Reichweite des Blue Beetle), ist aber auch für Menschen zugänglich, die die Bücher nicht gelesen haben. Dies ist ein präzise abgestimmtes, strategisches, kooperatives Spiel, das sich während des Spiels intensiv, lebendig und ein wenig riskant anfühlt (dank Würfeln und anderen Faktoren). Mit 30 Minuten pro Sitzung ist das Gameplay schnell und spannend.
