Beschreibung

Wenn Götter kämpfen, fließt das Blut der Einfältigen frei. Teomachia lässt dich einer der alten Götter werden und eine Stunde lang der Herr einer Gruppe von treuen Anhängern spielen. Du hast ein Ziel und nur ein Ziel: Die Gläubigen deines Gegners zu vernichten und dich damit einen Schritt näher zur absoluten Macht zu bewegen.

Das Entwerfen von Gebetskarten und Kraftkarten ermöglicht es dir, langsam deine Macht aufzubauen. Mit diesen Karten sendest du deine Anhänger in Kämpfe, baust Tempel und fügst den Ungläubigen schreckliche Flüche zu. Du stehst in jeder Hand vor einer schwierigen Entscheidung: Sollst du deine eigene Macht aufs Spiel setzen, um deinen Gläubigen zu helfen, ihre Kämpfe zu gewinnen, oder sollst du ihnen den Rücken kehren und sie in den sicheren Tod schicken? Wenn kein Gott nachgibt, werden Hurrikane gegen tödliche Plagen antreten, Stürme werden Feuerwände auslöschen, und die Reihen der Gläubigen werden jede Sekunde kleiner.

Sobald du den letzten Propheten deines Gegners losgeworden bist, ist es Zeit, sich auszuruhen und das fröhliche Lied deines Volkes zu hören. Du hast den Kampf der Götter gewonnen. Du hast Teomachia gewonnen.

Theomachie, die zweite Auflage von Teomachia, die 2013 auf Deutsch debütierte, bietet neue Illustrationen und erweitert das Gameplay für bis zu vier Spieler, anstatt der Zwei-Spieler-Grenze der ersten Auflage. Das Spiel wurde auch in zwei separaten englischen Ausgaben neu implementiert: Theomachy: The Ancients und Theomachy: The Warrior Gods, die 2015 erfolgreich finanziert und in Zusammenarbeit mit Petersen Games veröffentlicht wurden.
