Coriolis: Il Buio Profondo is the new edition of the acclaimed sci-fi role-playing game by Free League, brought to Italian by NEED GAMES!. Based on the proven Year Zero Engine system, it offers a setting that blends space exploration, mysterious archaeology, and Lovecraftian horror atmospheres.
Players take the role of Explorers aboard the City-Ship, in a universe where star portals have gone dark and every journey is a leap into the unknown. Out there, in the Dark, lie the enigmatic ruins of lost civilizations: few dare approach, but Explorers seek them, ready to uncover secrets in search of lost technologies and priceless treasures.
Compared to previous editions, this version shifts focus from innate character skills to equipment: tools, technologies, and resources become central for survival, creating a game mixing Indiana Jones-style adventure, Jules Verne inspirations, and the looming presence of ancient dark powers.
The Base Manual contains all the rules needed to play: character creation, game system, equipment, rules for exploring ruins, and the full Dark setting.
