The course of history changes drastically. Orcs settle in the Lonely Mountain and establish a fortress there. Dwarves remain in the Iron Mountains, their community far from thriving. As a result of the lost battle, Esgaroth no longer exists and the kingdom of Thal was never rebuilt, only ruins remain.
