Description
You are trapped on a doomed ship. Locked in a cell, you hear the ship's security forces being overwhelmed around you. As a last desperate move, the captain has freed you: he knows how dangerous you are, but he also knows your true capabilities. Fight against the invading forces and save as many innocent lives as possible before time runs out.
Extraction is a cooperative game for one to four players with intense base gameplay, scenario challenges, and multiple solo campaigns with character progression systems. The mechanics are fluid and intuitive, but the difficulty is high: there is no scenario in which the ship can be saved, the only question is how many people you can manage to rescue.
At the start of the game, players roll three dice that determine available actions, complemented by a character card that expands the range of abilities. Running through the ship's corridors and rescuing civilians accumulates Adrenaline, which can be spent for extra actions or to level up. Each civilian rescued is represented by a unique Survivor Card that provides temporary advantages (and disadvantages) while escorting them. Victory is achieved by rescuing a set number of survivors.
