This expansion introduces Pets, animal companions that fight, explore, and grow alongside you. These creatures are not mere background characters: they are mini-characters with unique Pet sheets, their own abilities, personal action dice, and beautifully detailed miniatures.
Your journey takes you to the snow-swept port city of Katafygia. A forest clan shaman has been kidnapped, and the presence of the Kartaçöl Empire in the region grows stronger with each passing day. Fearing an invasion of their forest lands, the council has sent you to investigate. But you will not face these dangers alone. Your loyal animal companions will stand by your side, offering both strength and wisdom as you bring the dark forces at work in the North to light.
In addition to introducing Pets, this expansion adds further depth to your adventures with two new factions, each more unpredictable and lethal than ever, along with new ability decks for leaders that will keep you on your toes. Explore uncharted terrain with two new sets of map tiles — forest and wooden interiors — along with additional story scene tiles to keep the narrative fresh and dynamic.
