Gods Of Rome

The gods are divided. Rome has lost its way. We must restore its glory! With the favor of the gods, we shall lead our people to become the chosen tribe that will bring unity and strength to the empire once again. Gods of Rome is a competitive 2 to 4 players area control game that uses worker placement and card activation and lasts around 60 minutes. Players will choose a tribe at the start of the game and must lead that tribe to gain the gods' favor. On your turn you must choose one of 3 options: Visit a God, Activate one of your Cards or Score your territories. Then the next player clockwise takes his or her turn. Visit a God: This will allows a player to gain a god's blessing token and hold a position for future scoring. Activate a Card: this allows a player to perform actions such as moving and placing cubes on the board. These actions can be enhanced using blessing tokens. Scoring: this allows a player to advance in the victory track depending on territories that he controls in regions that belong to gods that he is visiting. Then he clears all his activated cards and gods that he visited. There are also special objectives that change the scoring of territories from game to game. The game ends when a player reaches the last space on the victory track and the player with the highest total score from the 3 checkpoints is the winner of the game.
