Description
The game is set in New Orleans (called New Bordeaux in the game) in 1968 and tells the story of Lincoln Clay, an African American Vietnam veteran who was orphaned as a child and taken in by a mafia family where he found a father and an adoptive brother.
When they are killed along with the rest of the family by the Southern mafia — closely tied to racism and racial segregation and led by Sal "Sammy" Marcano — he decides to take revenge by forming his own criminal organization, uniting the Irish mafia, Haitian mafia, and Italian mafia, and eliminating the mafia boss responsible for the death of his "loved ones".
