In the Mesolithic, the Middle Stone Age, humans first formed tribes and divided tasks such as hunting or building among themselves. This not only ensured their survival but also led to the first settlements. In Mesos, players found their own tribes by recruiting new members who take on specific tasks. By selecting the right people, they prepare for events occurring during the three ages. The core game concept of Mesos is simple: those who act early can secure the most valuable cards, while those who act later receive multiple tribe members but have less choice. Round by round, players must decide on their strategy, carefully choosing cards from the open display: each tribe member performs a specific activity, e.g., hunting, gathering, researching, or building. Only the tribe best prepared for the events secures the greatest glory and honor.
