No Retreat! Polish & French Fronts

In No Retreat 3, players command Allied (French and British) or German forces, operating according to one of several historical plans (represented by Plan cards). Maneuvering forces over hexes that are approximately 30 kilometers across, the card-assisted game systems create on-map puzzles around each hex, unit, and battle. Designer Carl Paradis has conducted an exhaustive study to answer the question, "Could France have staved off total defeat in 1940?" His research yields a rich and insightful presentation of this controversial military campaign. For this deluxe edition, the 1939 Polish Campaign has also been added, featuring a "Fog of War" game system that enhances replayability. Players can explore many alternative historical options. The game includes various scenarios for both the French and Polish fronts, with different gameplay modes and strategic objectives.
