Obsession Upstairs Downstairs

Obsession lives from the dramatic stories that the Victorian era has written: shocking revelations, distressing tragedies, unheard-of secrets, family disgrace. Facing the twists of these stories is your tactical challenge in Obsession.

The Upstairs, Downstairs expansion offers you new ways to influence your fate. Of course, the new game mechanics are also embedded in the theme – especially with the abilities of the new household staff:

- The cook allows you to invite guests whose prestige value is 1 or 2 levels above your reputation.
- The caretaker allows you to temporarily reduce the prestige value of an expansion tile in your estate planner by 1.
- The head housemaid lets you draw 1 additional card when selecting an expansion tile or a guest with an invitation favor.
- The footman increases the income you receive from a money favor.

In addition to the 4 new servants, you will meet the new Howard family, which already has a cook at the start of the game. With the new family, you can now play Obsession with five players or even six (together with the Wessex expansion).

The expansion also includes 33 new noble cards focusing on prestige values 2 and 3, to represent the heart and soul of the regional aristocracy.
