Description Description

Order of the Day: Normandy is a two-player board game (with solo rules available) on the D-Day landing in June 1944, playable in 45-120 minutes, which is not a complicated wargame. It's suitable for anyone interested in history, roughly from age 12. Played in I-GOUGO mode, players move units area by area through northern France and Belgium. Combat occurs at the end of a turn in any area where both forces are present and is resolved by card draw. Cards inflict hits on enemy units, with "bonus hits" determined by the presence of specific unit types in battle (Panzer, Ranger, Artillery, etc.). In addition to D-Day landing, rules are provided for the Allied player to attempt Roundup, the invasion of France in 1943.
