Solitaire General: Napoleon at Waterloo
Relive one of history's most iconic battles: Waterloo! In this strategic solitaire game, assume the role of Napoleon Bonaparte and make crucial decisions in approximately 60 minutes of immersive gameplay. Perfect for history enthusiasts and military strategy lovers, ages 12+, this game fully immerses you in the dynamics of a legendary battle that changed the course of European history.
The game game is in consignmentStock but only few copies are available
Your objective, as Napoleon, is not only to crush Wellington's hodgepodge Allied forces, but you must also retain enough of your army – especially the Guard – for the battles to come. For if Napoleon won at Waterloo, he would still have to face large Russian and Austrian armies.
Key to the game is the revealing of the Allied forces. When Napoleon arranged his forces at Waterloo most of the Allied forces were hidden behind tall crops, hedges, ridges and other terrain features. So it will be with you - as you make contact with the enemy, their forces will start to be revealed. Perhaps your attack will hit weak troops, or maybe you'll end up facing the British Guard and their fearsome heavy cavalry! Every game will be different and your decisions will determine victory or defeat. The Allies do not just sit back either: They will reinforce, launch cavalry charges and/or infantry attacks and of course the Prussians are on their way…
The destiny of France is in your hands.
