Build your strongholds in the East as your guild faces new challenges.
Contains two expansions that can be played individually with the base game or combined with each other and/or with Splendor: The Silk Road.
The East:
The riches of the East are now accessible to all, and more and more art patrons are drawn to its exotic goods.
This expansion adds three sets of cards to be placed on the table next to the three decks of the base game. Then reveal 4 cards for each deck of the base game and 2 cards for each deck of the expansion, so you always have a choice of 6 possible cards per row. The expansion cards also add new effects compared to the base game.
The Strongholds
The competition between commercial empires is becoming fiercer: each guild builds strongholds to protect their riches from enemy ambitions and to accelerate their expansion. Place the strongholds and claim your territory!
This expansion enhances player interaction as, through the placement of strongholds on the cards, access to those specific cards is blocked for other players.
Contents: 1 rulebook, 30 Development cards East, 12 Strongholds (3 per color), 1 Noble tile.
