Splittermond: Die Arwinger Mark - Im Schatten des Kynhold

The Arwinger Mark lies between the rugged Kynhold mountains and the cliffs of Crystal Lake, and is the easternmost province of the young and proud Empire of Selenia. From here, imperial merchants set sail to distant seas and many caravans head to the port city of Arwingen through the fertile mark. But this image of peace and prosperity is deceptive, as dark creatures roam the region's forests and swamps. Mountain harpies are feared as much as the rattling of the swamps and the ruins of ancient drakes, but even more unsettling are the stories of beings repeatedly bursting into the Arwinger Mark from the Devastated Lands north of Draugis. Courageous adventurers are needed to face these dangers and protect the loyal inhabitants of the mark.

The Arwinger Mark is an expansion for the Splittermond role-playing game, in which the eponymous province is presented as a region explicitly suitable for beginners. Both low-heroic adventurers and inexperienced players find many opportunities for adventures and campaigns in the mark. The volume therefore contains not only a detailed description of the region but also two adventures ready to be played immediately.
