Description
The Battle of Tanga was the first major movement by Britain during World War 1 against the German East Africa colony. A diverse mix of colonial troops from India took part in the landings. Plagued with numerous problems, the British pressed on against the outnumbered German Schutztruppe and their Askari soldiers.
This game marks our second volume of the Great War Tactical Combat Series (the first was the Battle of Jassin) which is a very successful and player interactive game.
With an 11" x 17" map, 300 double sided unit counters as well as a 16 page rules book and various player aids highlight this great tactical game!
This game was first published as a DTP game by Khyber Pass Games in 2007. Legion Wargames is publishing a boxed version with die-cut counters.
