Description
The Lie is a lively card game designed by Eloi Pujadas and Eugeni Castaño, published by Kosmos for the German market. The cards "lie": they show numbers from 1 to 4 in four different colors, but when you flip a card to form your hand, either the number or the color changes from what it seemed at first — nothing is as it appears.
Each player must quickly understand what their cards really show and assemble them rapidly by drawing from left and right, then play color combinations with increasing value compared to the previous one on the table, trying to get rid of their cards first. After several rounds, the player with the highest score wins: a fast and lively party game, ideal also for larger groups.
