Descriptif

Battle For Souls est un jeu de cartes opposant les sept archanges du ciel aux sept princes de l'enfer dans une lutte pour les âmes éternelles de l'humanité.

Dans le jeu, 1, 2 ou 4 joueurs choisissent le côté du ciel ou le côté de l'enfer. Chaque côté se bat pour 21 âmes, qui valent des points de victoire. Les joueurs ajoutent des points saints ou impies sur les âmes en jeu en fonction de la façon dont ils utilisent la tentation, la vertu, le péché, l'intercession, les reliques saintes, les reliques impies, les cartes d'ange et de démon. Gagnez suffisamment de points saints, et lorsque l'âme est moissonnée, elle va au ciel, rapportant des points de victoire au côté du bien ; gagnez suffisamment de points impies, et lorsque l'âme est moissonnée, elle va en enfer, rapportant des points de victoire au côté du mal. Si une âme ne gagne pas suffisamment de points saints ou impies et est moissonnée, elle va au purgatoire où ses points de victoire ne sont pas comptés.

Guider une âme vers la pureté complète ou l'obscurité complète avant la mort et le jugement final ajoute un nouvel archange ou prince de l'enfer à l'arsenal d'un joueur. Chacun des sept archanges et sept princes de l'enfer a des capacités spéciales qui permettent à un joueur de gagner des âmes plus rapidement, et chacune gagnée ajoute des points de victoire supplémentaires à votre total final.

De nombreuses décisions stratégiques impactent le jeu. Les stratégies incluent se concentrer sur l'obtention de plus d'aide du ciel ou de l'enfer pour augmenter votre pouvoir, travailler pour moissonner des âmes rapidement dès le départ avec peu d'intervention des hordes angéliques et démoniaques, ou équilibrer votre jeu pour assurer la victoire.

Les cartes de péché, d'intercession et de relique peuvent être achetées pour des effets bénéfiques au coût de points saints et impies. Cela contribue à un gameplay profond et d'excellents scénarios de risque/récompense. Investissez dans ces cartes pour renforcer votre position.
