Descriptif

Dans Island Fortress, vous incarnez un maître constructeur choisi par le Gouverneur Cortland Hansen pour aider à construire le puissant Fort Aldenford en utilisant la colonie pénale de l'île Alcott. Votre objectif est de devenir l'architecte le plus distingué avec l'aide de votre Surveillant, des Travailleurs et du Gouverneur lui-même !

Dans le jeu, tous les joueurs utilisent des paquets identiques de cinq cartes de rôle pour planifier leurs actions telles que l'achat de travailleurs, la construction du mur, la collecte d'argent dans le trésor, et plus encore. En plus de marquer des points pour avoir construit la majorité des blocs sur chaque rangée du mur de la forteresse, les joueurs peuvent également obtenir divers bonus pour avoir complété des faveurs pour le Gouverneur en construisant les murs de manière spécifique, suivant les motifs préférés du Gouverneur.

Island Fortress, anciennement connu sous le nom de Huang Di et arborant un thème de la Grande Muraille de Chine, a remporté la toute première compétition ProtoSlam organisée par Cambridge Games Factory en août 2006 et est le premier jeu publié par le designer Bryan Johnson.
