Descriptif

Le jeu "shufflebuilding" Smash Up commence avec une simple prémisse : Prenez les decks de vingt cartes de deux factions, mélangez-les en un deck de quarante cartes, puis rivalisez pour détruire plus de Bases que vos adversaires ! Chaque faction apporte un mécanisme de jeu différent – les pirates déplacent des cartes, les zombies ramènent des cartes de la pile de défausse, les dinosaures ont une énorme puissance – et chaque combinaison de factions offre une expérience de jeu différente.
Pendant le jeu, des cartes de Base (chacune avec ses propres difficultés et capacités) sont en jeu. Vous essayez d'avoir le plus de puissance sur la Base de vos serviteurs lorsque la Base est détruite. Ça a l'air facile ? Est-ce si facile quand un Alien-Ninja de votre adversaire décide de téléporter vos serviteurs vers d'autres Bases - les assassinant carrément ? Que dire du joueur Pirate-Dinosaure qui arrive à toute voile et libère King Rex pour écraser vos serviteurs au sol, ou lorsque les Sorciers-Zombies utilisent leur Pouvoir Mystique pour créer une Épidémie, inondant soudainement la Base de serviteurs depuis la pile de défausse ? Ou que se passe-t-il si vous êtes confronté à un joueur Zombie-Dinosaure qui crée une Épidémie de bêtes massives en même temps ?
Lorsqu'une Base est détruite, chaque joueur à la première, deuxième et troisième place marque des points. Quatrième place ? Désolé, essaie plus fort la prochaine fois.
Avec huit factions différentes, Smash Up comprend des dizaines de combinaisons à essayer. Les Pirates-Alien jouent différemment des Ninja-Alien, par exemple. Laquelle utiliserez-vous pour écraser vos adversaires ?
Et avons-nous mentionné que les dinosaures ont des rayons laser ?
