In Belfort: The Expansion Expansion hat der König die Architekten gebeten, Erweiterungen für ihre bestehenden Gebäude zu konstruieren. Da dies nach zusätzlicher Arbeit klingt, hat der König beschlossen, den Architekten zu erlauben, seine Assistenten zu nutzen! Diese Erweiterungen eröffnen neue und individuelle Punktwege für jeden Spieler, während sie ihre eigenen Eigenschaften erweitern. Assistenten werden in umgekehrter Reihenfolge in jeder Runde ausgewählt und können entweder mit ihrer eigenen einzigartigen Fähigkeit (die sich jede Saison ändert) helfen oder verwendet werden, um eine neue Genehmigung für eine Erweiterung zu erwerben. Belfort: The Expansion Expansion enthält auch neue Gilden, von denen einige nur mit dem Basisspiel und andere, die die Komponenten dieser Erweiterung erfordern, verwendet werden können.
