Beschreibung

Guards of Atlantis: Tabletop MOBA ist ein wettbewerbsfähiges, teamorientiertes Brettspiel, das von Computerspielen des MOBA-Genres inspiriert ist. Im Spiel steuert jeder Spieler einen einzelnen Helden und verwendet eine Hand von Karten, um ihn über das Spielbrett zu bewegen, spezielle Fähigkeiten einzusetzen und Feinde anzugreifen. Das Besiegen von feindlichen Minions bringt dir Münzen ein, die verwendet werden, um Level zu kaufen und deinen Helden aufzuwerten. Dein Ziel ist es, deinen "Minions" — Einheiten, die nicht direkt von den Spielern kontrolliert werden — zu helfen, die feindliche Basis zu erreichen und sie zu erobern. Obwohl Guards of Atlantis mit nur zwei Spielern gespielt werden kann, macht es mehr Spaß, wenn zwei Teams von Spielern gegeneinander antreten, da das Spiel Teamarbeit und taktisches Spiel fördert. Vor dem Spiel wählt jeder Spieler einen Heldencharakter aus. Jeder Held hat zu Beginn des Spiels fünf Karten, mit dreizehn zusätzlichen verbesserten Versionen, aus denen man wählen kann, wenn dein Held ein Level aufsteigt. Jede Karte ist einzigartig und kann für eine Vielzahl von verschiedenen Aktionen verwendet werden. Die Charakterrollen sind nicht festgelegt und können sich auf dem Schlachtfeld entwickeln, um besser zu deiner Strategie zu passen und die Entscheidungen des Gegners zu kontern. Es gibt keine Würfel zu werfen, aber die richtige Karte zur richtigen Zeit zu spielen, ist entscheidend. Das Spiel beginnt damit, dass die Spieler ihre Helden und Minions an vordefinierten Stellen des Spielbretts platzieren. Das Spiel ist in Runden unterteilt, wobei jede Runde aus bis zu vier Zügen besteht. Jeder Spieler spielt eine Karte und löst eine Aktion in jedem Zug. Die Karten werden verdeckt gespielt, dann aufgedeckt und in der Reihenfolge der auf den Karten angegebenen Initiativwerte aufgelöst. Wenn ein Team zu irgendeinem Zeitpunkt alle seine Minions im Bereich verliert, wird die Lane "geschoben", wobei sich alle Minions auf dem Brett um einen Bereich näher zur Basis des Gegners bewegen. Das Spiel geht weiter, wobei jedes Team versucht, seinen Minions zu helfen, zur feindlichen Basis zu gelangen. Das erste Team, das dies schafft, gewinnt!
