Beschreibung

The Few and Cursed ist ein Deck-Building-Abenteuerspiel, das auf der gleichnamigen Comic-Serie basiert. Es spielt auf einer post-apokalyptischen Erde, auf der das meiste Wasser des Planeten seit siebzig Jahren verschwunden ist. Obwohl die Überreste der Menschheit einen Weg gefunden haben, sich anzupassen, indem sie Wasser, das wertvollste Gut des Planeten, als Währung verwenden, hat das Überleben die Welt in eine böse Einöde verwandelt, in der es entweder töten oder getötet werden muss. Und das Böse hat nicht nur überlebt, es hat gewonnen. Die Menschen wandten sich an dunkle Künste, alte Geschichten von Unfug und Flüchen, um zu überleben. Der Tod ist überall. Aber für jede Dunkelheit gibt es Licht - und unter den wenigen und verfluchten gibt es diejenigen, die bereit sind zu kämpfen, um das Gleichgewicht im Land wiederherzustellen: die Fluchjäger. Im Spiel übernehmen die Spieler die Rolle eines "Fluchjägers", der versucht, sich einen Namen zu machen, indem er nach übernatürlichen Artefakten sucht, Aufträge erfüllt oder Kopfgeld jagt. Die Spieler durchqueren die Wüste des Pazifischen Ozeans, während sie improvisieren und neue Karten für ihr Deck auf ihrer Suche nach Ruhm oder Schande erwerben.
