Description

Kresh had worked too long and too hard to start over from the bottom. Lower than the bottom, actually, as everyone he wronged on his rise to the top was now enjoying kicking him like a stray dog now that he was down. They learn that 'this' dog bites, gnaws, and feeds. Meanwhile, B'zhet continues his training to be the Champion his Uncle Hull believes him to be. A new trainer joins the party and B'zhet learns more about the history of his teachers' pasts. Most intriguing of these histories is hinted at between his Obsidiman trainer Kaoroth and the trainer yet to join them. Kaoroth is less than happy about it. Paths are treacherous, wild things stalk our heroes, and a madman is challenged to find out just how far he can sink into insanity
