In Der Grüffelo: Alles wird gut!, alles won't be gut unless you can reach the gruffalo before the owl, snake and fox fully emerge from the forest and eat you up, you being a tasty little mouse.
To set up play, arrange the nine tiles in a 3x3 field with the gruffalo tile at the end of the dotted path on these tiles. Place the four tiles each for the owl, snake and fox next to these tiles. Players take turns rolling the die. On a 1-3, the player moves the mouse figure this many spaces forward; if you advance off of a tile, then flip it face down. If you roll an owl, snake and fox, flip one of these respective animal tiles face up. If all four tiles of an animal are face up and you roll the animal again, you must move the mouse backwards on the path. If you don't have a tile on which to move (since you've flipped it), then everyone loses. Reach the gruffalo space before this happens, however, and you all win!
