The first expansion for Karak 2 brings a number of new features, most notably the player vs player mechanics and the new Imperium mode. In the new mode, players compete for the Emperor's Crown, which brings great power but also great responsibility, in addition to the usual objective. The expansion also introduces five new heroes, two new monster types and several new landscape types.
