Memoir '44 has become a classic and now returns in a revamped version with modernized illustrations, updated rules, additional scenarios, improved components, and team play options that make it even more engaging.From D-Day and the first steps of Allied troops on the beaches of Normandy to the liberation of Paris and beyond, Memoir ’44 immerses you directly in the key battles of World War II that changed the fate of Western Europe: Omaha Beach, Pegasus Bridge, Arnhem, the Ardennes…This time, you’ll be in command on the battlefields that shaped History. Memoir ’44 is a unique historical game where players compete on a hex-based board. Each battle scenario faithfully recreates the terrain, forces involved, and objectives of each army. As generals, you must wisely use command cards to lead your units (infantry, tanks, artillery, and Resistance fighters, to name a few) and leverage their unique abilities to outmaneuver your opponent.Play 1 command card from your hand to direct units on the battlefield. Move the commanded units, then roll attack dice against the enemy army. Capture strategic objectives or eliminate enemy units to secure victory. Includes 180 miniatures.
