Perdition's Mouth: Revised Edition 2022

Description

This labyrinth of monster-infested corridors is not like the others! To defeat the grotesque creatures that crawl towards you as you explore the dark corridor, you don't have to throw dozens of dice. Instead, thoughtful action and collaboration are required, as combat here is done through Euro mechanisms! Authors Timo Multamäki, Thomas Klausner, and Kevin Wilson (Arkham Horror, Descent) believe that there are already enough random monster hunts and have therefore created something completely new: Perdition's Mouth. The actions of the 1-6 player characters are selected through a rondel, which allows for multifaceted tactical collaboration with other players. Additionally, each player has their own deck of cards, different for each character. The difficulty level can be adjusted if you want a real challenge. Some scenarios become challenges, like those found in video games like Dark Souls or Bloodborne, where you first get to know the scenario, and then come back with the correct equipment and tactics. Ultimately, it is preparation and collaboration that determine victory! So choose your heroes wisely if you want to survive in the labyrinth of the insect god!
