Your fleet of loyal ships, powered by the might of quantum probability itself, carries your empire to the far-flung stars. How will history remember you? As a ravenous destroyer? A clever tactician? A dauntless explorer? Command your armada, construct your monuments, and rally the remnants of humanity for a final confrontation. In Quantum, each player is one of the four factions struggling to construct on various planets. To achieve this goal, each player holds three dice, which are the base of his armada of ships. The die value determines the type of ship, from the powerful, but slow Battlestation to the quick and fragile Scout. Of course the ships can be reconfigured into new kinds of ships during play. Each ship has a special power that can be used for free during a player's turn (on top of other non-free actions) and the power of the ships can be played in combination. Thus, the randomness of the dice is always under control and optimization by the players. While constructing on planets, the players will earn new abilities, ships, powers, etc. All of these elements can combine with the ships, their powers, and other new advancement to open an endless horizon of possibilities, ways of play, and strategies to win the game. With a modular board, an infinity of scenarios, and easy-to-learn rules for a deep and rich game play, Quantum is a one-of-a-kind game of space combat, strategy and colonization that will delight the hard-core gamer as well as the casual ones!
