Description Description
Farukan looks back as one of the oldest human realms on a millennia-old history. Since the wise Lamassu once spread their protective wings over the fertile plains between Ashur and Pardash, the land was never subjugated by the Drachlings. Not without pride, the Farukanis can therefore look back on ancient traditions, the most famous of which is the strict code of honor. Far beyond the borders of the empire, the honor of a Farukani can be recognized by his peacock feathers on the turban. - The land seems to many like something out of a fairy tale: powerful elemental summoners let themselves be carried by the winds on their flying carpets, erratic Sphynges and capricious Djinns lure into adventure, and on the bazaars storytellers entertain with their poetic performances. But there is also plenty of worldly things to explore: courtly intrigues dominate the palace of the Padishah, wise scholars explore suns, moons, and stars, and who knows what secrets the last remaining Lamassu prefer to keep to themselves. - Farukan is a sourcebook for the role-playing game Splittermond, in which the eponymous region is described. Due to the sheer size and diversity of the empire, the focus of the book is on the central Shahiraten Farukhur, Ashurmazaan, Fedirin, and Aitushar. In addition to detailed descriptions of the culture and geography of the country, players receive suggestions for the atmospheric design of Farukani characters, such as new training variants and typical Farukani equipment, while game masters are given insights into the backgrounds and secrets of Farukan. All this offers numerous inspirations for exciting and varied adventures in the fairy-tale realm of Farukan.
