Herathis, the only port city of Selenia on the Elyrian Gulf, is ancient, rich, contested, intriguing, whimsical, eerie ... and for this mix it is known far beyond the borders. There are many reasons to come to Herathis, whether it be the port with its lucrative maritime trade, the fading grandeur of the patrician palaces in a network of canals, the research of the Circle of Spires in the mysterious Blackthorn or the prospect of a special find in perhaps the most famous fairy market in all of Lorakis. And eventually every visitor will listen with a pleasant shiver to the stories that the city has to tell. But a storm is brewing and Dangerous Tides threaten to engulf Herathis. What is behind the missing ships that endanger the flourishing trade? Are the Pataliers involved? Or perhaps another power?
