In the years before the outbreak of World War II, both the United States and the Japanese Empire expanded their fleets and air forces, planning to build even more new ships and aircraft. The outbreak of the war scrapped many of these planned vessels, but this did not prevent us from adding them to Second World War at Sea.
The Emperor's Sword is a huge expansion for Second World War at Sea, set in the alternate history scenario we call The Long War. It features the ships and aircraft planned by the Japanese, opposing them to the United States Navy and the additional ships and aircraft from its construction plans.
There are 770 brand new punchboard pieces smooth as silk: 350 double-sized pieces for ships and 420 standard-sized pieces for aircraft and small boats. Here are the huge Montana-class battleships, the Japanese Taiho-class aircraft carriers with armored flight decks, the Japanese Type B65 battlecruisers and the American Alaska-class battlecruisers, flight deck cruisers, advanced aircraft and much more. There are also thirty new scenarios that let you put these ships and aircraft into action.
This module is not playable on its own but requires ownership of Midway Deluxe Edition to enjoy all scenarios.
