Description
This fourth expansion to Wingspan explores the birds of Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. This incredibly biodiverse region is home to over 3,000 bird species, including those with the smallest and largest wingspans in the world (the Bee Hummingbird and the Snowy Albatross, respectively). Hummingbirds make up about one-tenth of bird species in Latin America, delighting birdwatchers with their rapid movements and shimmering plumage. Designer Elizabeth Hargrave and artists Natalia Rojas, Ana Maria Martinez Jaramillo and Martha Clare highlight them in this expansion with a new card type that adds a twist to gameplay. Wingspan - Americas components include 111 new bird cards plus 40 hummingbird cards (and related boards and mats), 8 new objective cards, 5 double-sided objective tiles and an Automa solo mode. This expansion requires the base game of Wingspan (or Wingspan Asia, which is a standalone game for 1-2 players).
