ISS Vanguard is a cooperative board game for 1-4 players that offers countless adventures on vivid alien worlds and distant star systems. Players control four Sections (Security, Reconnaissance, Science and Engineering) aboard the ISS Vanguard - the first ship to cross deep space on a mission to save humanity. Close Encounters is the Expansion Set for ISS Vanguard that replaces most of the paper components of the base game with plastic miniatures: from the ships, to the mission equipment, to the aliens, everything acquires a remarkable aesthetic touch and a 3D effect that gives the game more immersion.
