Roi‑de‑Rats is a major campaign and sourcebook on 18th‑century Paris. In this campaign, players come into contact with the Court of Miracles, the Parisian underworld, the myth of a secret son of the King, and many other famous events of the era. They become entangled in the deadly game between the Church, the Templars, and the Court, eventually facing the assassins of the Théâtre de la Mort, secret societies, and the lackeys of Louis XIV. They will be forced to make difficult choices that test their deepest convictions, whether gnostic or religious, conservative or supporters of the evolution of scientific thought.
But in the end, the heroes will discover that all of us, in one way or another, are part of a Roi de Rats, bound to one another by the tail in an inescapable knot.
