Descrizione

Doggerland era una massa terrestre che collegava la Gran Bretagna al continente europeo e che scomparve sotto il Mare del Nord dopo l'ultima era glaciale. Gli esseri umani vivevano su queste terre fertili dove si trovavano molteplici risorse e animali.

In Doggerland, giochi un clan intorno al 15.000 a.C. Il tuo obiettivo è espandere il tuo clan per lasciare una traccia della sua esistenza per secoli a venire. I giocatori aumentano la loro popolazione, realizzano artigianato, dipingono murales nelle caverne, erigono megaliti per gli dei e (soprattutto) sopravvivono alle rigide condizioni delle stagioni. Per fare ciò, esplorano il territorio circostante e si adattano alle risorse a loro disposizione. Il territorio varia in ogni partita, grazie a tessere modulari.

Ogni turno, i giocatori programmando le loro azioni, per poi eseguirle. Queste azioni variano, in base alle risorse disponibili, all'abbondanza o scarsità intorno ai loro villaggi, e anche in base alle azioni degli altri giocatori. Con il passare del tempo, le risorse si esauriscono e i clan devono migrare per trovare ciò di cui hanno bisogno per il loro sviluppo e sopravvivenza.

In ogni clan, c'è un leader che porta bonus e uno sciamano che consente azioni potenti e uniche grazie alla conoscenza e alla magia. Dopo 6-8 stagioni, il clan con il punteggio più alto vince.
