Far Space Foundry è ambientato in uno scenario di pace spaziale dove il tuo compito è gestire le Foundry, immense stazioni spaziali dedicate al rifornimento della flotta. Nel gioco dovrai estrarre skyrite e rubion dagli asteroidi, trasformarli in galactium e costruire una flotta di mercantili per il trasporto. La meccanica si sviluppa su due fasi distinte: nella prima gestisci risorse e materiali, nella seconda li trasporti per la produzione finale. Un gioco strategico di gestione risorse per 1-4 giocatori, dai 10 anni in su.

Descrizione

La Far Space Federation sta guidando una missione di mantenimento della pace nello spazio. L'equipaggio in prima linea ha sempre bisogno di nuovi rifornimenti e attrezzature, quindi la Federazione ha stabilito una massiccia rete di linee di rifornimento. Questa rete è composta da immense stazioni spaziali chiamate Fonderie. Alcune Fonderie si specializzano nell'estrazione e nella lavorazione del minerale dagli asteroidi. Altre Fonderie sono equipaggiate con impianti di produzione e riparazione robotici. Il loro compito è mantenere il flusso dei rifornimenti il più efficiente possibile.

Il gameplay in Far Space Foundry si articola in due fasi distinte: Fonderia dello Spazio Alfa e Fonderia dello Spazio Beta.

Presso la Fonderia dello Spazio Alfa, estrai skyrite (cristalli blu) e rubion (minerale rosso) e li processi per creare galactium (metallo viola). Nel tuo turno, giochi una carta che ti permette di far atterrare una navetta su un pontile o di decollare da uno. La navetta trasporterà materiali grezzi dall'asteroide o ai tuoi mercantili. Ogni pontile ha un'abilità speciale se attivata quel turno, come la lavorazione del minerale o i commercianti galattici. In questa fonderia, devi anche costruire una flotta di mercantili per trasportare i tuoi articoli. Per fare questo, devi visitare la cantina per reclutare aiuto da vari capitani alieni con abilità uniche. Una volta che tutti hanno giocato tutte le loro carte, è ora di dirigersi verso una nuova plancia.

Presso la Fonderia dello Spazio Beta, prendi tutti i materiali acquisiti e li trasporti alla stazione. Lì i robot useranno quel materiale per realizzare vari prodotti di valore diverso. Oltre alla produzione, puoi anche aggiornare i tuoi mercantili o caricare i tuoi prodotti esistenti per più punti. Una volta che i mercantili sono di nuovo pieni, è ora di trasportare gli articoli alla loro destinazione finale per il punteggio finale.
