Unisciti ad altri ambiziosi capi gilda per estrarre e sviluppare la famosa Città dell'Argento durante il suo periodo di rapida crescita ed espansione economica nel XIV secolo - dalla prima scoperta dell'argento vicino al monastero cistercense alla costruzione di Kutná Hora, che divenne rapidamente una delle città più importanti dell'Europa centrale. Kutná Hora: The City of Silver è un eurogame di costruzione di città storiche per 2-4 giocatori che offre un'esperienza di domanda e offerta reale in cui ogni azione intrapresa ha un impatto sui sistemi economici dinamici del gioco. In ogni turno, i giocatori scelgono a turno le azioni da una mano di carte a doppia faccia per intraprendere piani strategici come l'estrazione mineraria, l'acquisto di appezzamenti di terreno su cui costruire, l'ottenimento di permessi, l'edificazione di edifici per le loro corporazioni affiliate, l'ottenimento di profitti dalla loro produzione e, naturalmente, il lavoro per la costruzione della Cattedrale di Santa Barbara. La natura asimmetrica delle gilde disponibili per ogni giocatore rende i turni altamente interattivi, in cui ogni decisione ha un impatto interessante sull'economia e sugli altri giocatori che espandono le loro miniere e costruiscono infrastrutture su un tabellone condiviso. Estraete minerale e fondetelo in una fortuna d'argento per espandere questa bellissima città storica, ma fate attenzione a bilanciare l'avanzamento dei vostri obiettivi personali con la necessità di favorire la crescita della città. Tutto è collegato, e a volte la strada per la vittoria personale si basa sulla prosperità di molti.
