Opis

W Galaxy Command 1 do 4 graczy wciela się w rolę galaktycznego dowódcy. Każdy stara się utrzymać delikatną równowagę między zasobami, potęgą militarną a osiągnięciami technologicznymi podczas eksploracji galaktyki. Gra jest szybka i zabawna, z różnorodnymi decyzjami, które każdy gracz musi podjąć podczas swoich misji.

W każdej grze Galaxy Command istnieją bliskie i dalekie systemy, które muszą zostać pokonane, aby przynieść nowe zasoby i bogactwa. Bliskie systemy muszą być zbadane przed próbą dotarcia do dalekich systemów. Niektóre dalekie systemy wymagają kluczowej technologii, aby można je było osiągnąć z jakąkolwiek szansą na sukces. Bliskie systemy dostarczają zasobów, które mogą budować twoją siłę militarną i rozwijać technologie, które pozwalają pokonywać wyzwania, gdy zagłębiasz się w przestrzeń.

Podczas tury gracze odkrywają kartę systemu (zaczynając od bliskich systemów) na swojej ścieżce misji i próbują pokonać jej przeszkody. Następnie zbierają bogactwa i zasoby oraz budują siłę militarną i technologię. A na koniec losowana jest karta wydarzenia, która może wpłynąć na jednego lub wszystkich graczy w grze. Karty wydarzeń są również zegarem gry. Gdy karty wydarzeń się skończą, gra się kończy. Galaxy Command (wszyscy gracze) ratuje lub nie udaje się w swojej misji, osiągając wystarczającą liczbę dalekich systemów, aby utrzymać swoje imperium. Każdy Galaktyczny Dowódca (indywidualny gracz), pod warunkiem, że imperium zostanie uratowane, może być najlepszy wśród rówieśników dzięki swojemu wkładowi (wynikowi) w ogólny sukces misji.

Żaden mecz nie będzie taki sam, ponieważ systemy, które otrzymujesz, i decyzje, które podejmujesz, będą się zmieniać z gry na grę. Karty wydarzeń wpływają na różnych graczy w każdej grze. Gra trwa od 15 do 45 minut w zależności od liczby graczy i szybkości, z jaką grają. Gra jest przeznaczona dla osób w wieku od 8 do 800 lat (jeśli jesteś z planety Cirius...).

Pierwotnie opublikowana przez Roberta jako gra solowa do wydruku z 19 kartami. W tej wersji wzięliśmy oryginalną grę, dodaliśmy element wieloosobowy, rozszerzając talię do 54 kart, nowe ilustracje, planety i wyzwania, ale zachowując czyste mechaniki. Gra została dobrze przyjęta tak, jak była, a teraz uczyniliśmy ją dostępną dla 1 do 4 graczy, nadal utrzymując czas gry poniżej 45 minut.
