Two alternate versions of important characters make their debut in Marvel: Crisis Protocol in this new package! On Earth-616, Gwen Stacy is dead. But on Earth-65 it is Peter Parker who is dead and Gwen Stacy who lives on as a masked hero. Accepting her connection to the Venom symbiote and the power it offers her, she sets off in search of a solution to her universe's problems. Gwenom is joined by Ben Reilly, a clone of Peter Parker created to be a weapon. Known as the Scarlet Spider, he is determined to prove himself a hero in his own right. On the game board, these characters enhance the Spider Web Warrior Affiliation with their inherent web-throwing abilities and three Team Tactics cards.
