Bonsai

Description

In Bonsai you can play alone, challenging the Emperor, up to a maximum of four players from 10 years of age. In Bonsai the players are master arborists competing against each other for who will display their work in the Imperial Gardens. At each turn the player can decide whether to Meditate or Cultivate, i.e. take a card from the board or place a tile from his or her reserve respecting the placement and growth rules. When one's Bonsai reaches a rank indicated by one of the Objective tiles still on the board, the player decides whether to claim it immediately or attempt to reach a more difficult rank. The player who has achieved the most points, indicated on the tiles that make up their Bonsai, when there are none left on the board, wins. Bonsai is FSC-certified for low environmental impact and contributes to the planting of 8,000 trees through a partnership with Trees for the Future, a non-profit organisation committed to building more resilient communities and a healthier planet.
