High, low, left or right? In which direction do you push the card in the middle? The choices quickly become fewer. Time for a joker! The first player to have no cards left is the winner of Split! Or you can raise the stakes and play the 'Play Together' variant. The dealer shuffles all the cards and deals seven cards face down to each player. Then the dealer takes two additional cards. The dealer chooses the highest and lowest standard card from their hand and places them face up in the middle of the table, so the values of the cards are visible. The player to the left of the dealer starts, and then play continues clockwise. When it's your turn, you may only play a card with a value that lies between the values of the cards on the two Split piles, OR a joker. If you cannot play a card from your hand, you must reset the game. The players who are next in turn can always decide whether to place the card from the middle on the left or right pile before they play a card in the middle. The first player to have no cards left is the winner!
