1997: Escape from New York transports you to the iconic atmosphere of the 1981 film of the same name by master filmmaker John Carpenter. The whole of Manhattan is the world's largest open-air prison. You will step into the shoes of Jena Plissken, Mind, Maggie and the iconic Taxi Driver. In a race against time, you will explore the perilous streets of New York City, searching for the President, the government tape and the pattern of bridges needed to escape without stepping on landmines. - This expansion introduces the intervention of the Police. In addition to their missions, the Heroes will have to complete assignments received from Hauk if they wish to receive a presidential pardon. The Heroes can decide whether to help the police or betray them by pursuing their own secret goals.
