Dropfleet Commander Shaltari Aaru Cruisers

Despite their technological supremacy, it was inevitable that the Shaltari would incur losses during their constant interference in the Reconquest. The fleet stationed above Aaru contains patterns similar to the ancient Shaltari battleships, albeit at a cruiser tonnage. The Aaru Basalt is a carrier of ancient design, though no less potent than its contemporary counterpart. Primarily seen above Aaru, these have been given the name as a way of differentiating ships of comparable role and performance.  Also seen primarily above Aaru is a variant of the Emerald Mothership. Equally as old a design as the Aaru Basalt and just as rare. The tribes must be getting thin on ships if they're using ancient designs to hold a planet. These ships offer an alternate visual style but still follow the normal rules for the Shaltari Basalt and Emerald cruisers.
