"Napoleon against Europe" śledzi epikę Napoléona w jego próbie umocnienia swojej dynastii i zachowania podbojów Rewolucji za pomocą kart do gry, które śledzą wielkie wydarzenia i osobistości tego ekscytującego okresu. Gracz przejmuje losy cesarza i jego wroga, niezmordowanej Albionu i jego kolejnych koalicji. Gracz francuski nie ma innego wyboru, jak tylko narzucić swoją wolę całej Europie, aby odizolować Wielką Brytanię poprzez ścisłą blokadę zmuszającą mocarstwa kontynentalne do uznania francuskiej hegemonii: decyzja musi być podjęta między dzikim Półwyspem Iberyjskim a stepami Rosji. Każda strona ma swoją własną talię kart podzieloną na dwa okresy: Epicki i Kary.
